Publishing a book

When to do it.

This wiki-system provides as well a searchable publish as an editorial environment for the documentation sets we manage here.
However for off-line viewing and general reference this system can also easily produce so called 'book pulications' of this information.

Typically to accompany the major releases of the reslet platform these books should be published.

Steps involved.

  1. Login with the proper karma
  2. Go to the book publication section
  3. If you want to replace a current publication, then you might want to remove that one first.
  4. There you folow the link to 'publish a book'. You will be presented with the list of available books you can publish.
  5. Follow the 'publish' link next to the ook you want to create
  6. Follow the wizard till the end.
    If you're not sure about what to fill on each form, then not changing anything and just taking the defaults will work out ok.
